Here is the video from Week 4 of the ongoing workshop exploring the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois First Nations) Creation Story, being held in Kahnawake Mohawk Territory.
At the beginning of this video through about the 0:17:00 mark, Kyle Delisle of the Mohawk First Nations and CEO of the Kahnawake Business Contribution Foundation discusses evidence of cataclysmic flooding in the ancient past.
At about 0:17:00, I give a continuation of my introduction to the patterns of the ancient world-wide system of celestial metaphor which forms the foundation of the world's ancient myths, scriptures and sacred stories. This presentation follows on presentations in Weeks One and Two of the same workshop, which can be viewed here and here.
This third part of the exploration of the Star Myths of the World (with particular focus on the Star Myths of the Indigenous Native American First Nations of North America) includes some thoughts on the White Dog Ceremony of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Nations), as well as some preparation for the main topic of the workshop, which is the Iroquois Creation Story.
That presentation runs through about the 1:14:30 mark of the video.
At about the 1:14:40 mark, Mohawk wisdom keeper Trina Stacey Ienonhsaka'én:ions begins to present the actual sacred Creation Story in the Mohawk Language, pausing throughout to translate into English as she proceeds. She is reading an Onondaga version of the Creation Story, in the Mohawk Language. This reading and telling of the beginning of the Creation Story runs through about the 1:59:48 mark in the video.
At that point, in response to Trina's request, I briefly add a few thoughts and possible celestial connections related to some of the figures and events in the Creation Story. The video of this week of the workshop concludes at around 2:08:55.
